General terms
- minimum 21 years of age
- minimum 2 years of possession of the driver's license
- identification card or passport and driver's license
- deposit is required for all vehicles and is marked in the price list.
Length of rental
– The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours). Pick up and returning the vehicle must be the same, with a tolerance of 60 minutes delay.
After this comes to charging overdraft new day rental. If the lessee has contracted rental period is shortened, Galaxy Pro rent a car retains the right to charge penalties of up to 2 days rental. The extension of the lease must be timely reported and may be extended only in case that our employee is allow. Rental rate is determined based on the number of days that the contract is concluded. each extension will be charged at the same price of the contract which had previously concluded.
Payment and deposit
Renting a vehicle is payable when you take over the vehicle with a credit card (visa, mastercard), payment to the account (legal entities) or cash.
A deposit during the rental period is mandatory and is marked on the vehicle page.
Prohibitions and unregulated vehicle usage
- It is forbidden to travel with rented vehicle to the following countries and territories: Russia, Belarus, Kosovo, Albania and Turkey. INSURANCE DOES NOT APPLY for these areas
- It is forbidden to ride a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, medicaments and drugs. In these cases, insurance is NOT VALID and the customer is charged the full amount of damage / theft.
- The crossing of the border of the Republic of Serbia is possible only with the permission of Rent a car Galaxy pro.
- The leaseholder should take care of the vehicle. It is not allowed to drive out of the way, to have a race or rally, to tug other vehicles, to borrow a vehicle to another person. Any kind of replacement of the vehicle’s parts and any modification of them are strictly forbidden. Each replacement is considered as a damage and will incur a charge.
- NOT ALLOWED TRANSPORT OF ANIMALS AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
- The rented vehicle can only be operated by a person registered as a driver in a rental agreement. It allows the possibility of subscribing up to two additional drivers, with the approval of Galaxy Pro rent a car, when vehicle’s taking over occures
- Operating the leased vehicle by unauthorized persons, who are not registered in the lease agreement, is forbidden . In these cases, insurance is NOT VALID and the customer is charged the full amount of damage / theft.
Procedures in case of damage, accident and theft of the vehicle
The client is obliged to act in the following manner:
-To notify immediately the police and the Galaxy pro rent a car and to act according to their instructions.
- Record data about other participants in an accident or event
- Fill in an accident / damage report when returning a vehicle.
- Write a brief statement describing the causes and circumstances in which the accident / damage occurred.
- Rent a car Galaxy Pro is not obliged to provide a replacement of the vehicle if the lessee damages the vehicle at his fault.
- Rent a car Galaxy Pro provides assistance on the road for all the failures on its vehicles.
Notice of the use of the vehicle
- Misdemeanors and penalties as well as parking fines during the lease caused by breaking traffic regulations of the Republic of Serbia are the sole responsibility of the lessee. The leaseholder has to be acquainted with the Traffic Law of the Republic of Serbia or the Traffic
Law of the country in which he travels with the Galaxy Pro car rental agency.
- Personal items and luggage are not covered by insurance policy and we do not recommend leaving such things in the parked car.
- Do not leave GPS navigation on the windscreen in a parked vehicle or if you are not in the vehicle.
- Spent fuel is paid by the lessee and it is obliged to deliver fuel invoices in the case of vehicle’s failure .
Insurance CDW (collision damage waiver)
CDW insurance is included in the rental price of the vehicle and covers 90% of the amount of damages in case that the person who operated the vehicle at the time of the damage is guilty . The person in charge of the vehicle in that case participates with 10% (minimum 50 €) in the compensation for damages, only if his own fault caused the occurrence of the damage. If the lessee is not responsible, there is no participation in the damage. This insurance DOES NOT COVER the damage caused in the interior of the vehicle, on tires and wheels, loss of documents, broken or lost key, damage caused by filling the wrong type of fuel and damage done on purpose or carelessly. All listed damages will be charged in full amount at the time the vehicle is returned.
Insurance from the theft of the vehicle
This insurance is included in the rental price of the vehicle and covers the damage caused by the theft of the vehicle. This insurance is NOT APPLICABLE if the vehicle was unlocked or the key was left in the steering wheel lock during the theft. Also, the client is obliged, in case of theft, to deliver documents and keys of the vehicle to the Galaxy Pro rent a car agency. This insurance does not cover theft of GPS navigation, tires, batteries, documents, keys, and other parts.
Insurance SCDW (super collision damage waiver)
The purchase of this insurance is not mandatory, but it is a popular and highly recommended type of additional insurance. By purchasing this insurance, a person does not participate in the compensation for damage, regardless of the circumstances that led to the damage. For low tariffs of additional paying you will release the huge stress that makes this type of insurance smart choice for car renters. This insurance DOES NOT COVER the damage done inside of the vehicle, damage on tires and wheels, loss of documents, broken or lost key, radio, damage caused by filling the wrong type of fuel, and any damage caused on purpose or carelessly. All listed damages will be charged in total (minimum 50 €) at the moent the vehicle is returned. POLICE RECORD IS OBLIGED FOR ALL TYPES OF INSURANCE. Without a police record, the full amount of damage or theft will be charged by the client, regardless of the type of insurance purchased. The record must be made even in cases where the customer was not present during the damage of the vehicle (the vehicle was damaged in a parking lot by NN person).
